Creating, launching, buying or promoting a meme token carries a high level of risk. You could lose all of the money you put in. Only use money you can afford to lose.
02Volatility and total loss
Meme token prices can move by large amounts in minutes and many tokens go to zero. Past performance of any token, or of projects we have worked on, is not a guide to the future.
03Liquidity
There may be little or no liquidity for a token, so it may be impossible to sell at the price you expect, or at all. Liquidity can be removed by whoever provided it.
04Smart contract and technical risk
Smart contracts can contain bugs or behave in unexpected ways, and blockchains can suffer congestion, forks or outages. We review configurations with you before deployment, but no contract is free of risk.
05Irreversible transactions
Blockchain transactions generally cannot be reversed. Sending tokens or funds to the wrong address, or approving a malicious contract, usually means they are gone permanently.
06Keys, scams and impersonation
- Whoever controls a wallet’s private key or seed phrase controls its assets. Never share them — MEMZO will never ask.
- Scammers often impersonate projects and support teams. MEMZO staff will not message you first asking for payment to a new wallet or for access to your wallet.
- Only trust contact made through hello@memzo.cc or memzo.cc.
07Regulatory and tax risk
Laws on cryptoassets differ by country and change often. A token or its promotion may become restricted or unlawful in some places. You are responsible for understanding and paying any taxes that apply.
08Third-party platforms
Exchanges, DEXs, listing sites, wallets and social networks can change their rules, delist tokens, suspend accounts or fail. MEMZO has no control over these decisions.
09Reputational risk
Meme tokens attract attention and criticism. Community sentiment can change quickly and affect a project regardless of its quality.
